The War on Christmas

Merry Christmas Season to You!

From 1789 to 1989 - the first 200 years of the American Constitution -- it was perfectly legal and very loved by Americans to have Christian and Christmas Cultural Icons on public ground as part of our American traditions and fabric.

In addition Christmas has deep and ancient roots in the European people...solstice, Christmas Trees, Yule celebrations -- that are just not acceptable to the new rulers of America!

Even the date of our Constitution was signed by its authors with the preface: “In the Year of our Lord.”

In 1989 it became illegal to have any Christian-themed Christmas display on any Federal, State, County or City ground. It became illegal to say any Christian prayers in schools, forbidden to even sing Christmas Carols in them or even in public schools to call the Christmas holidays, “Christmas Holidays!”

Shall any of this ever be reversed within the foreseeable future? I honestly don't know, however; through will, determination and by-way-of Faith; we may very well someday be capable of defeating our foes.

Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone's Civil Court Record & Crime Family

As reported on by the Media, Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone is currently suing Barstool Sports in civil court (Docket: 1981CV01717).

However, Mayor Curtatone is no innocent man himself. After all, he's been sued five times since 1993 for malpractice, products liability, personal injury, property damage, ect.

Personally, I believe this case is far more about Joe Curtatone's vast ego (which is publicly known amongst Somerville natives), as opposed to any form of alleged severe illegality on the part of Barstool Sports Boston.

======================

Throughout my lifetime thus far, Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone is, without question, the most vindictive & unethical politician I have ever observed.

Ever notice how not a single one of his relatives, whose crimes are reported on by the Media, are ever convicted? In 2014, Joe Curtatone's brother, Cosmo Curtatone, was arrested on charges of rape. Cosmo was never convicted in the end; and the closest he ever came to facing justice was just a few weeks in the former East Cambridge Jailhouse, sadly... not to mention that Cosmo already has a decades -long criminal record.

Then Joe Curtatone's first cousin, ex- Somerville Police detective Alex Capobianco, was arrested for handling counterfeit money at a Cambridge hotel, and being in possession of and dealing crystal meth (both the counterfeit money & crystal meth being two separate cases). He, too, was never convicted.

Finally, the worst of the worst: Joe Curtatone's sister, Middlesex County-South Register of Deeds, Maria Curtatone who, in 2018; hosted an underage drinking party for her daughter's graduation which resulted in a stabbing, as reported on by a dy well-known local media outlet. Maria Curtatone, unsurprisingly, was never charged, despite all of the evidence.

In closing, Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone uses the influence & great power of his position to protect the rest of his crime family. Curtatone always says that he "recuses" himself when confronted by the Media but, the evidence is clear that he does not. It would be extremely naive to NOT believe, or at least consider for a slight moment, that Joe Curtatone is indeed involved when it comes to ALL of his relatives walking away from their criminal activities scott-clean.

Having the surname Curtatone is now the local version of having the surname Kennedy: You can get away with any crime and face absolutely no prison time... perhaps even get away with murder someday, for all we know... after all, Ted Kennedy did.

Alliance of Cambridge Tenants: Does Airbnb Cause Rents to Rise?

by Shelterforcestaff

TUESDAY, February 19— Q: Does Airbnb Cause Rents to Increase? A: Yes! Since hosts can make 50 to 200 percent more on short-term rentals than on long-term rentals, Airbnb affects purchase prices as well.

Despite its preferred image as a home-sharing platform, Airbnb actually involves tens of thousands of rental units that have been pulled off the rental market entirely, constricting housing supply. Since hosts can make 50 to 200 percent more on short-term rentals than on long-term rentals, Airbnb affects purchase prices as well.

[P.S. Cambridge City Councilor Dennis Carlone, along with Ward 1 Somerville City Councilor Matt McLaughlin, are proponents of AirBNB ... particularly when it comes to providing short-term rentals for both out-of-state & city, transient college students ... which greatly affects local natives (as an additional form of mass-gentrification). However, both would probably disagree with the latter portion of my statement.]

Note from the Editor:

If you do decide to join the Alliance of Cambridge Tenants (A.C.T.), which is a fine organization; it would be highly in your best interest to NOT become involved with a one Kathy Watkins, as she has quite the notable reputation of being incredibly bossy and beyond rude; which, sadly, has forced some longtime members of many years to leave the organization, altogether. In addition, Kathy Watkins is also affiliated with the Cambridge Residents Alliance.

In addition, a man by the name of Brian A. McCarthy was recently elected to the Governing Board of the Alliance of Cambridge Tenants (A.C.T.) and; it should be made known that Mr. McCarthy possesses a very poor demeanor. In early 2017, while serving as chairman of the now -defunct Somerville Republican City Committee, Mr. McCarthy and his sister were investigated for welfare fraud involving undocumented persons residing within a subsidized dwelling. In early 2018, Mr. McCarthy was investigated by the Internal Revenue Service (I.R.S.) for not reporting income, as he was working "under the table"; and not to mention him being sued by Winter Hill Bank Corporate (Docket: 1510SC000228). Finally, prior to all of the previously mentioned events, Mr. McCarthy, after having been an employee of the City of Somerville for the better part of 20 years, had his employment terminated due to posting politically inappropriate content on Facebook (out of all websites); which is a violation of the City's Personnel Department's standards regarding Character and Fitness. However, to this very day Brian A. McCarthy maintains & insists that he was "blackballed" by Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone, as there was allegedly an Alex Jones -like "conspiracy" against him.

The Alliance of Cambridge Tenants (A.C.T.) is one of the Nation's premier tenants rights organizations and, if you are seriously interested in joining them or simply need assistance in regards to a housing matter; I highly, highly recommend that you contact them immediately. However, as with any membership organization, be careful with whom you chose to become involved with.

Third Candidate to Appear on Preliminary Ballot for Mayor of Somerville

I recently wrote in a post that there was a candidate challenging incumbent Joe Curtatone for mayor of the City of Somerville... that candidate being Marianne Walles. There's also a third candidate (including Mayor Curtatone) named Kenneth Van Buskirk III.

A longtime resident of the City of Somerville, Mr. Van Buskirk is now running his second campaign for mayor. He previously campaigned for the office in the 2017, however, he was eliminated in the preliminary election... finishing last.

Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone Has a 2019 Challenger: Marianne Walles

Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone has a 2019 re-election opponent. Her name is Marianne Walles and she's a Somerville native and a social worker. She seems like a very fine lady. Please feel free to visit her official campaign website:

IMPORTANT NOTE: I am NOT publicly endorsing any candidate for mayor of Somerville, whether it be Mrs. Walles or (most certainly NOT) Mr. Curtatone.
